Ya man. Finish it. If it were my song, I would ease off on the sidechaining a little.

The-Cockenator responds:

Yes true the sidechain is a bit ovekill there but that is just cus the bassdrum disapears but i might change the melody to fit a more 4 to the floor but it is a nice sound and thanks :)

If this were for a videogame I imagine a level with snowy weather. With large fluffy snowflakes and plump penguins sliding across the ice.

This loop is so good! It carries such a happy feeling

Smerkcircus responds:

Nice discription! Thanks for the review :) happy music is fun fun fun!

I really like the mood of this entire things. I just want to sit outside and watch the sunset and relax

blazephoenix responds:

Thank you very much. Glad you like it.
I love this theme. It's really relaxing and sad at the same time.

Good stuff man

I'm liking it. I'd like to hear you record some stuff and put it up, the beats flow nicely.

Zodiax responds:

oh, its coming soon, watch out for it :)

thanks for the review

Wow

This is fucking sick! I'm am really looking forward to this track being finished. I personally didn't like the cut back to the vocals at 58 and then back to the beat again at 1:03. Everything else in the song is very nice!

BlizzardTears responds:

Thanks :)

Well, I was actually thinking if I should remove or leave the cutback. I might remove it and use it later. :)

Great mood

You really set the feel in this and carried it throughout. I really like that! I really enjoy it. I haven't heard many ambient guitar tracks, so I like that aspect of this too.

Demensentis responds:

Thanks for the kind words, and glad you like it!

Is it just me?

The whole thing seems squished. Did you put a heavy compressor on the master or something? I'd suggest you work on the transition around 1:40, it really comes out of nowhere and doesn't follow the harmonic structure of the previous half. I really like the liquid feel of the first half though :)

Good luck on the whole project!

zenodio responds:

Thanks for the review, it's nice to see a REAL review again, a review i can actually use.

Well, i didn't put anything on the master channel.
And that transition at 01:40 was just something i did for fun, don't really know why. I might remove it in the full version.

But thanks for the 10 and review =)

Doing good!

Hey man about a year ago you reviewed one of my songs and I checked some of your stuff out and you've really improved! Keep it up.

zenodio responds:

Oh sorry man, i'm really sorry but my PC have been the worst piece of shit. And thanks a lot man =D

I gotta check out some of your stuff out too man =D

Good good

Hey me again. I noticed the kick didn't really translate over to my system too well. It sounded like there was too much low end on it and my speakers couldn't really produce. However it does have "Club" there doesn't it! >.<

I also noticed it got muddy around 0:50 or so and again when that lead saw kicked in. I also noticed that during some of the choruses the kick lost all of it's character and didn't sound so good, and the bass disappeared (4:40-5:11).

Keep up the work. I hope this helped a little!

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Thanks for the feedback. We have a limited amount of systems to test out our songs on so it's good to hear back from people on the portions of the songs that need adjustments.

Thanks again!

Wow!!

You guys are great! I love to see that you guys are on top of all the reviews! You have a big future ahead and a good following building up. Your music is astounding to Newgrounds standards.

I notice you guys really like to vocode :P
You guys really have your own sound building up as I could see in your newer songs and they all have a lot of character.
This was mixed very well, I really like the instrumentation here.
Do you get your songs mastered by a mastering engineer?

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Thanks for the review! We mix and master all our songs ourselves. Although to be honest, this song isn't really up to our current standards. We've made a whole lot of progress since this piece - you should be seeing some new stuff from us soon!

As for the vocoder, it's not actually a vocoder. It's autotune. While we didn't like to rely on it, it sounded better than our pitchy voices at the time. That's all beginning to change as we get better at singing and learn how to manipulate our own voices. Expect our newer songs to be of much higher quality and the vocals to be more "real" and of much better quality.

Thanks for all the comments! We should be launching some new stuff in the next month, so definitely keep an eye out for that!

It's been a while. I've learned so much. Thank you all.
